Zoom is one of the most used video calling apps in the Corona era. Zoom has brought new features to make its video conferencing service more advanced as well as to woo more and more users. The company is adding Zoom Apps and Zoom Events on its platform.
Both these features will soon be rolled out for all Zoom users. If you don’t see these features on your Zoom app, make sure you’ve updated to the latest version of the app. After getting the latest update, users will get the option to improve the calling experience with third-party apps.
Zoom apps seamlessly integrate third-party on Zoom which will be visible in your Zoom calls. More than 50 apps will be available on the app through this feature, including games like Asana, Pixel’s background app and even Heads Up. As long as you’re on the latest version of Zoom, you should be able to install any of these 50 apps from the new apps tab. This new Apps tab will be on the toolbar and will appear during Zoom calls.
The second feature that starts on Zoom is the Zoom Event. Zoom Events will help you to host “robust virtual events”. For example, if you want to create an event hub that lets participants know about the event, you can do so with Zoom Events. Zoom Events will also allow you to sell tickets on the platform. Any money you make from selling tickets to Zoom events comes directly to you.
Now, Zoom’s second event platform OnZoom is still on offer. OnZoom is an events platform designed for small businesses and acts as a marketplace for virtual events. OnZoom is currently in beta mode.
